Teacher's Pet Mahjong Tiles

Gold stars all around—Teacher's Pet brings classroom charm to every hand. 🍎✏️

Cheerful, clever, and charmingly nostalgic, the Teacher's Pet Mahjong Tiles turn every game into a little trip back to a favorite classroom. Inspired by sharpened pencils, shiny apples, and the bright folk-art style of a well-loved schoolroom, this set comes alive in cobalt blue, tomato red, mustard yellow, and olive green on a soft cream face. It's perfect for teachers, retired educators, and anyone who still loves the first day of school.

The Dots are reimagined as cut apples, each one a bold ring of red, blue, or yellow with a little star of seeds at its center and a leafy stem on top. The Bams become rows of colorful pencils with pink erasers and banded tips, while the One Bam is a bluebird perched on a red pencil among olive leaves.

The Craks bring the whole classroom to the table: a striped pencil cup, cat-eye glasses on a scalloped case, scissors, a globe, a desk bell, a checkered potted plant, a wall clock, a crank pencil sharpener, and a satchel, each paired with its number and character. The Winds draw from art class and the supply closet, with a paint palette and brush, clipped papers, a horseshoe magnet with shapes, and a triangle and ruler. The Dragons stay classic but playful, with a red 中 framed by leaves, an olive 發 on a sunny yellow cloud, and a blue chalkboard, complete with chalk, standing in as the Soap.

The Flowers are a joyful little bouquet of their own. Daisies spill from a wavy blue pitcher, tulips rise from a yellow vase, a single poppy sits in a pencil-shaped bud vase, daffodils fill a checkered blue bowl, and an iris, a watering can, a leafy pot, and a mug of pencils and blooms round out a corner of the classroom windowsill in bloom.

The Jokers are where this set shows its personality. Each one celebrates a teacher's favorite things, from cat-eye glasses on a stack of books and a cozy mug to a tulip backpack, a lunch box and thermos, a hand bell, and a bluebird resting on an apple, all crowned with a bold JOKER.

Finished with a layered tile edge in cobalt blue, mustard yellow, and tomato red, every acrylic tile carries the bright, primary-color cheer of a schoolhouse, cheerful from every angle as you build your wall.

A thoughtful gift for the teacher in your life and a delightful American mahjong set for anyone who loves classroom charm at the game table.
