Spice & Stem Mahjong Tiles

Fresh from the garden and warmed with spice—Spice & Stem brings a pinch of flavour to every hand. 🌿🌶️

Fresh, fragrant, and beautifully grounded, our Spice & Stem Mahjong Tiles bring the kitchen garden to your table. Inspired by bundles of drying herbs, jars of whole spices, and the quiet ritual of cooking from scratch, this botanical mahjong set is drawn in a palette of sage and olive green, warm paprika red, and sunny ginger yellow on a soft cream face. It's perfect for the home cook, the herb gardener, and anyone who loves a table that feels as inviting as a well-stocked pantry.

The Dots trade traditional circles for paprika-red rosettes, each one stamped with a pale six-petal flower, while the 1 Dot is a bright, juicy lemon slice. The Bams are rolled cinnamon sticks with curled ends, stacked in neat rows, and the 1 Bam is a little green songbird perched on a cinnamon stick between two leaves.

Each Crak pairs a different fresh herb with a bold red character: basil, sage, dill, thyme, mint, bay, rosemary, flowering chives, and parsley. The Winds are lettered in deep green beside leafy herb sprigs, and the Dragons keep things lively: a red chili pepper with basil leaves, a knobby ginger root with a single leaf, and a plump garlic bulb with two cloves.

The Flowers are a little spice cabinet all their own. Garlic, a violet saffron crocus with its red threads, ginger, star anise, cardamom pods, whole and halved nutmeg, cloves, and flowering coriander each get their own tile, so every flower you draw feels like reaching for a favourite jar.

The Jokers are where the kitchen comes alive: a mortar and pestle with basil, a red pepper mill with thyme, a painted spice jar, garden shears beside rosemary, a bowl of ground paprika, a wooden scoop of cardamom, a tied bundle of herbs, a mezzaluna chopping parsley, a citrus reamer with lemon, and a glass teapot with fresh mint. Every one of them reads clearly as JOKER, and all of them belong to the same cozy family.

Finished with a layered tile edge in paprika red, sage green, and deep olive, built from stacked solid acrylic, each tile catches a warm stripe of colour from the side that echoes the spices on its face and feels as natural as a garden path.

Spice & Stem is an American mahjong set designed for cooks, gardeners, and anyone looking for a thoughtful, one-of-a-kind gift that brings a little flavour to every game night.
