Serene, luminous and charming, our Festival of Lights Mahjong Tiles were inspired by the glow of Hanukkah candles in a winter window. The set uses a soft palette of cornflower blue, deep navy and warm golden yellow on a clean white face, with little olive sprigs tucked in throughout. It's a Hanukkah mahjong set for anyone who loves bringing the holiday to the table, from family game nights during the eight nights to a standing weekly American mahjong game.

The Dots become golden gelt coins, each one ringed in white, and the 1 Dot carries a navy Star of David at its centre. The Bams are rows of slender blue candles, each topped with a golden flame, so every hand feels like lighting another night. The 1 Bam is a blue dove resting on an olive branch dotted with golden olives.

The Craks are blue dreidels, each with its own pattern: a single golden dot, an olive leaf, golden stripes, a Star of David, a drop of oil, a diamond and a scalloped band, each above its character. The Winds look through softly arched windows: a lit candle for East, a potted olive branch for South, a hanging golden lantern for West and an arched blue door for North. The Dragons are elegant vases: a red character on one, a green character on another, and an empty white panel on the third.

The Flowers are a little Hanukkah feast. Golden latkes stacked high, a sugar-topped jelly doughnut, an oil jug with its flame, a round blue pomegranate, a clay oil lamp, a ribbon-tied gift box, a pouch spilling gelt and a star-shaped cookie each sit above an olive sprig. Every flower is labelled for easy play.

The Jokers bring the most personality, each framed in a blue ring with an olive sprig beneath. There are eight different designs: a fully lit menorah, a dreidel, a Star of David, a dove carrying an olive branch, an oil jug, a single candle, a stack of gelt and a glowing lantern. Together they read as one family, so every joker you draw feels like a small celebration.

Finished with a layered tile edge in golden yellow, cornflower blue and deep navy, each acrylic tile echoes the candle flames and winter blues on its face. The layers give the set a warm, polished look on the table.
